Crescent tail: This tail works well in all surf conditions. This tail provides the prone rider with a comfortable recess in which the riders hips and legs are unrestricted from movement. The tail blocks are the pivot points for bottom turns and hard carves. The crescent tail is versatile and works well for the part-time DK rider.
Bat Tails: These work by increasing the surface area though the central tail area of the board. This helps to reduce body drag, which is great for down the line speed and through flat sections of the wave.
Drop knee Crescent Tail (Full Crescent Tail): The Drop knee crescent features smaller tail blocks and a larger arc. This gives the DK rider the ability to get the tail into the wave deeper allowing for greater control in big snaps and in hollow wave sections.

Stringers: The stringers we use at Rossi Board Co. are tubular fibreglass. The added benefits come during most turning manoeuvres when there is tension between the front and rear ends of the stringer. Once the rider releases the pressure from the front of the nose, so to is the applied pressure released from the stringer. This causes the stringer to instantly recoil back to its straight profile and further enhances the boards popping action. Other benefits are durability of the board extending its life span.

Slick Hand Bulbs - Raised nose grips hand shaped into the corners of the slick bottom, ergonomically formed for fingertip control, comfort and grip.
Deck Hand Bulbs - Raised nose grips placed on top, under the deck skin, to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand.

Deck Contours: These lock your body into position, improve your grip, comfort and control.
Elbow Pads: Foam inserts laminated inbetween the deck and core. The pad helps to protect the core by absorbing repetitive elbow impact.

Hip Lock System: This system locks your hips into position while driving your bottom turns or holding that higher line through the tube or barrel. It also adds comfort and control.

Cores - PP (beaded PolyPro) - Perfect for warm water climates and water temperatures, PP core is for riders who like a more rigid platform for todays high performance manoeuvres. Add in the stringer and you get a board with just the right amount flex and that popping action for speed. Beaded polypro gives the shaper the ability to stiffen and add flex by playing with core thickness.

PP-Flex (Good Dow replacement) - Rossi Board Company has been testing this lower density, light weight Beaded Polypro core which gives you the flex of Dow. Add the stringer system RBC. use to maintain great flex with good pop. This is a new PP version for riders that prefer more flex or riding colder water surf spots. PP-Flex can also be better suited to smaller, lighter, younger riders who dont have the weight or the strength yet to work regular PP cores.
